Ένα ακόμη γκολ σημείωσε στην τρέχουσα αγωνιστική περίοδο ο Jairo da Silva στο παιχνίδι του “Τάσος Μάρκου” με την Ένωση Νέων Παραλιμνίου.
Την πιο παραγωγική σεζόν της καριέρας του πραγματοποιεί ο αρχηγός της ομάδας μας, καθώς σε 16 συμμετοχές στο φετινό πρωτάθλημα Cyta έχει σημειώσει 14 γκολ!

Εκτός από την φετινή σεζόν ο Jairo έχει να υπερηφανεύεται για ακόμη δύο αγωνιστικές περιόδους. Η πρώτη είναι η σεζόν 2014/15, στην οποία σημείωσε 13 γκολ με την φανέλα της ομάδας από την Σλοβακία As Trencin. Η δεύτερη είναι την αγωνιστική περίοδο 2018/19 με την HNK Hajduk Split. Συγκεκριμένα πέτυχε για τον σύλλογο από την Κροατία επίσης 13 γκολ.
Αξιοσημείωτο είναι επίσης το γεγονός ότι ο 30χρονος επιθετικός βρίσκεται στην κορυφή του πίνακα των σκόρερ του πρωταθλήματος Cyta, με μεγάλη απόσταση (σε γκολ) από τον δεύτερο ποδοσφαιριστή της σχετικής λίστας.
Jairo Congratulations…You are also the top scorer for this season so far with 14 goals, without scoring from the penalty spot, and with a significant difference from the second place which is 7 goals! How does it feel to have such good results?
Jairo: It gives me the feeling that all the hard work is being paid off. The team is doing very well and all the players are at the top of their form, which makes everything “easier”.
We can see how much love and appreciation our fans have towards you! And not only our team’s fans, but football fans in general in Cyprus! How important is this kind of recognition and love for you as a football player and what kind of impact does this have on your performance?
Jairo: It is always good to have this kind of recognition because it shows that your work is being done the right way and it gives you motivation to improve and to be better all the time. I appreciate all the support and I’ll always show gratitude to our fans by giving my best on pitch.
